aluminum fabrication

anyone have anything aluminum in their car that was custom fabricated?

door sills, shifter plates, firewalls, etc.

Still need to buy 2 more gauges. I do have an extra one of these plates I'm probably going to put on Ebay.


Black anodized shifter plate...


More is planned but who knows when it'll be made lol

Ive just made a centre console infill plate,radio/air con plate,trim rings for the 4 gauges all from aluminium plus billet ali window switches.I havent quite finished as it is at the moment having a "finish"put on it but i should have it all back together sometime next week/Its has taken so much time and thought,so i hope it'll look good

check the apperence and detailing page a guy made this awesome shroud for his radiator it is awesome, however dialup useres it takes aobut 45min to load.

I will be having a custom radiator support made at the local vocational school, they love doing stuff like that and you only pay for material.

that's a pretty good idea. i'm looking to make a radiator cover, not the whole front piece but just the cover itself and some door sills.

i made a pretty trick piece to cover the condenser hole when i took out the ac and heat. now i just have to cut a circle one and form it to the firewall somehow. i cant find the pic of it though. i will look again when i get home. i though i had the disk with me, guess not.

here is one of 3 i have to show u. sorry the pics are a little shiney as well as the new paint in the bay is dusty from me sandblasting in the garage. the firewall looks really good as one can tell from the pic. now i just need to find out what to do with those darn wires.
