Gauge pod ????'s

Well after months of searching I have not found a 2 5/8 inch A-pillar gauge pod for my 83 Camaro. Has anyone installed one that was intended for a 4th gen? I noticed that they make a 2 5/8 inch A-pillar pod for 4th gens but not for 3rd gens (figures)
