I did the bezel in my Camaro, but I did it in a silver colour to give it an aluminum effect. Came out pretty well, I'll try and get a pic. I say, go for it. Colour coding an interior looks good, but make sure you do some other bits as well to complement it, or it may look a bit strange with nothing else red on the interior!

I have a Camaro and did mine red, subtle "stock" appearing mod, I like it.

Wait a sec, do you mean the part you can touch all assembled or the metal part under that, that encircles the gauges? Thats what I painted!

That's a good point, I didn't read it like that

I painted the plastic part, although since this thread started I have painted it purple, painted the metal surrounds silver, then black, and now the plastic is back to black too....it's as if I never touched it

fyrelance.....at first i didn't think i'd like any color besides black in the interior, but i gotta say yours was definitely done tastefully. Not like some kid the other week who had an entire white interior and a blue exterior with white stripes BLAH.

THUMBS UP

Why thank you, sir. The girlfriend doesn't like it, but I get compliments on this board every time I post that picture And I like it, so she'll just have to deal. Hehe.

Yeah I didn't want to go overboard with it, just wanted something to accent the interior without being tacky. The only other thing I've accented since that picture is the little tiny thin "frames" that go around the window/mirror switches in the center console and around the PRN@D21. I made them the same red. That is all I plan on painting. Some day I'll actually post an updated picture but...well, I'm lazy...
