I think you just have to push in on the flashlight, and it will pop out....

Mine has a little clip thing you push to get it to come out. Does your guys have like an elastic band hanging down and when you look in the rear view mirror you can see it? Its an eye sore but Im not sure I want to cut it or see if there is another solution, because I don't want to mess it up.

I think we all have that problem. I cut mine all off. I got sick of seeing the damn thing hangin down and didnt like the way it looked when I tiedd it up.
Im going to fasten me a black snap button on there. I just have to take the console out to do it and havent gotten around to it.

The clip is at the bottom of the actual flashlight, just push it in and it should come right out. On mine I cut the worn out band off and put black velcro on the bag to keep it closed.

they stretch out over the years, after they loose their elasticity.

Th ONLY band that I have seen that was not all stretched out was on an IROC that the guy never drove and it had only 1000 miles on it... Other than that, I think they get stretched from people pulling on them from just normal use...

i have considered sewing a new band on mine...
