um, how do you manage to get a car on its side without ruining it... and couldnt you just use a piece of metal you found out back and weld it to the car instead of spending 200 bucks.

hey give me a brake i only look into what i want to no, i dont read stuff that does not apply to me or that i no nothing about or care to no about,i would go to mechanic school if i want to no everyhting. so what do they do and how does that stop u from getting those marks on the paint?
Subframe connectors (SFCs) are reinforcement bars to connect the front and rear subframes together. F-bodies aren't designed with a complete frame, just a front and rear subframe connected by the floorpan. The reason your doors are sagging and you're getting stress lines in the paint is because, over time, the car itself sags between the subframes. SFCs fix this huge GM oversight and get rid of door problems, dash and t-top rattle problems, and tighten up your ride a LOT. For more information, browse the Suspension board, there's TONS of information there.
