Thinking about buying some guages

I' m thinkin about guy these guages http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...SVGW-14V8-RVGX
But I also had an idea but not sure if it would work or not. for the speedo and the tach use blue leds for lighting, then the battery gas guage, temp and oil pressure all make them a differant color, like make battery and gas red, temp and oil pressure green. would there be any way of doing this like making a plastic block around the lights or something. the leds i would be using look like this. forgot to say the mcd on these leds are well over 12,500 mcd.

Dude, you could do it, but it would be very tedious and you would have to be very good at what you were doing. You can get into trouble quick taking the dash cluster apart. I'd use some sort of weather stripping so it would be easier to get the cluster back together. Anyway, some places that sell white gauge faces sell the bulbs to iluminate the gauge inlays. I'd call and see if you can get individual bulbs for the inlays themselves.
