gas guage

Transmission: 700r4
gas guage

y gas guage is off by quite a bit on my 89 and i was wondering if there is a way to fix this or do i need all new guages

well, you could run the car out of gas, remove the needle, turn the ignition on and place the needle on empty...

Engine: 355 with stuffs.
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 4.10 Posi
and if that doesn't work, you may have a bad sending unit, which is in the gas tank. Good luck changing it if you end up going that route.
