I have no knowledge of fiberglass work, but I was looking through google groups for info on ground effects and came across this post from alt.autos.camaro.firebird (posted on 1998/09/13):
Hmmm..
Well, just build your own ground efx
Get some fiberglass rolls, resin and some urithane foam (I think...)
and build 'em. You measure the dimentions of the car's stock effects,
create a "mold" out of the foam (non plug, just an "overlay") then
start layering the fiberglass. Takes a while, but you really can get
some awsome effects using an

I have seen it done...even to the extend of building an entire body
(which I plan to do one day).

These should help a little:
http://www.fibreglast.com for your glass
http://www.rqriley.com/frp-foam.html for body construction tips

You might just contact some of the kit-car manufacturers (mainly those
who do fiero-rebodies and stuff) about custom work.
www.kitcar.com
that should point you in the right direction

ps. you want looks from the ladies...get a vette =-Þ
Also try looking on the web for something like "Knudsen." This is from a different post in the same chain, but the guy did not know where this word exactly came from.

Let me know if these links are worth bookmarking and keeping in my records.

Just a side note: fiberglass is horrible for gfx. It doesn't give enough and will crack easily. Stock ones are urethane (plastic).
