SunVisors
SunVisors
Okay, this may sound *stupid* to some. But I am short, 5'3" and my eyes are extremely sensitive to sunlight. The visors in my car (91 Camaro RS) aren't long enough from top to bottom for me. Has anyone else had this problem?? Or does anyone know what other vehicles have "longer" sunvisors in them that is a direct bolt to replace mine???
Thanks
Thanks

You could sit on some phone books or something.
J/k, just messin' with ya.
I'm not sure if there are any "longer" sunvisors out there, but I do think that some from other cars will fit...or you could always try taking a shot at making your own... just cut it out in cardboard and cover it in headliner material or what-have-you, and voila, your own custom visors.

82-92 s-10/s-10 blazer sunvisers will bolt in, im not sure about the fitment if it will hit the rear view mirror or not, i do believe they bolts line up though, not 100% sure
hmmm I didnt even think about making my own. Geez I'm slow. LOL!! Has anyone ever made their own?? *Someone* doesnt think I'm capable of fabricating them w/o having guidence in doing it.
Will have to try the s10/blazer first though b/c that would be easier and less time consuming

bub, i love the pic of your car in the sig, looks like u went off roading with it. but as far as the sunvisors go, i wouldnt try to make my own, id go to the junkyard find a set u like, then go find a camaro and try them of it,if thye dotn fit u go find another pair, but i believe all chevy sunvisors from those years 82-92 all fit the same, i also think the ones from c/k truck will fit, those are very large too

I am 5'3 as well & I Own a 87 Iroc t-topped car & I have no problems with my sunvisor. If your car has powered seats you can move the seat up to the point they work out for you.
No power seats. My *main* problem is I'm 5'3" and 3/4 legs so I cant sit extra close to the steering wheel and be comfortable. My legs are too damn long.
Also No T-tops, I only wish I did

maybe its time to invest in getting a power seat set up. you dont need to go out & buy new seats you just need the power track. & you can get those off of ebay.

We are planning on putting 4th gen seats in anyway. IF we find power ones, great, we dont, o well. Untell we can afford that, we need to swap/modify the visors we have. We have also shimmed the seat up as much as the studs in the floor will let us.
It is very hard for us to find them time to get to a salvage yard. They are only open 8-5 (same as we work) and we are usually busy/booked to make it to the ONE that is open on weekends.
We have tryed some from either a buick or olds (unsure) it was bigger pattern. We have also tryed the ones from my s10, wont work.
Thanks for input, always accepting more.
