Interior pix.

Does anyone want to show off their interior mods? I would kind of like to see just what everyone has done! Here is a shot of mine so far.

Personally, I'd put a PS2 there and keep the changer in the back somewhere. Still a nice looking install! How is it mounted?

Well it took a little cutting with an air saw but it actually was pretty easy. Once I popped the map pocket off and cut the hole for the changer I realized that the vent tube was in the way. I blocked off the passenger vent and cut the tube off. I had to relocate the comp for the car over just a little bit then move the VATS control module which is located back there as well. After that I had plenty of room for the changer. I used two backstraps from some old CD players that I had installed and manufactured a mount that goes to the back of the changer and the firewall. That didn't provide enough support so I tapped another screw into the top of the changer and made another mount that wraped around one of the mounts to the passenger speaker. Once it was secure I made a black plexi trim ring that fit into the space that the map pocket came out of. The hardest thing that I have had to deal with over time was securing the trim ring to the changer. I ended up using epoxy and that has stuck so far. Thanks for the compliments!

That is an 1/8th" chunk of gray smoked plexi sandwiched in between my factory clear plastic and the guage trim bezel. It gives it the digital look without actually using digital guages. I prefer the analog guages myself. I have ingiglo guage inserts coming and debating whether to leave the smoked or go back to clear. The guage overlays are white when they are off so I am not sure yet what I want to do.

Zepher- I like your three pod A-pillar pod. Where did you find it and how much di it run? If you don't mind me asking. And also does it just go over the factory A-pillar panel or does it replace it? Thanks!

fast86z28,
No. The wires were easy. I did have to extend them a little. The hard part is getting it to stay there. I tried hot glue b/c thats all I had. i am going to try soem epoxy stuff and see how that does. I do really like it there.
