Looks great!

On another note, I personally like the look of the Iroc's and the Z-28's without the lower two tone stripes. Just looks more cleaner.

It's in the north-western corner of the state. It's about an hour east of Albany, and about 20 minutes north of Pittsfield.

There was some body work done. All of the ground effects & mirrors were removed and prepped separately. This included fixing a few dings in them. The body was decent overall, but there were the usual dings here and there. The rear 1/4 panel on the passenger side had some rust in the wheel well opening that required some minor welding. Overall the car was pretty solid though, definately better than the vast majority of the thirdgens in the area.

Wow, only 2K for all of that work? It's worth the drive from the midwest!

If I remember right, the very first time I came across Jim85Iroc, I was sitting at a set of lights and he pulled up in his GTA. If I remember correct, it was missing some parts of the GFX and was looking like someone went off-roading with it.

Could just be poor memory, but the first time I saw it after fresh paint at another light, it looked beyond clean & straight. If you check his site out and look at his Iroc-z, that thing had seen it's punishment on the body and looks like him & his father ressurrected it.

I just bought some paint tools myself, and I'm still in the process of doing expirimental body work & painting on the truck, so far so good. I'll probably repaint the entire thing again so I become more familiar with the gun and painting properly.

I figure I CAN do better than any Maaco quality paint job, if I can do that I will be satisfied.
