rear seat belt delete
i'm completely redoing my interior. i have new acc carpet, 4th gen seats, 4th gen console, and 4th gen seat belts. since i won't have anyone riding in the back seat, i'm getting rid of the rear seat belts. has anyone ever smoothed out the section circled in green, or even just filled the section in the orange circle?
Havn't done it, but my guess is if you could scuff up the area around the little circle and cover it with some long strand fiberglass body filler.
Spread it out on seran wrap or something then push it on and rough shape it, hold it there untill i sets up, then when it's dry enough, you could sand it to the shape you want. You'd have t sand the whole piece smooth though to get a uniform look.
Then blast it with some paint and maybe a clear dullcoat or something. i don't know how well the paint will stick though.

I don't have any pics. I don't have a camera. I just bought them off ebay. They are pretty nice. The only part so far I couldn't clean up shouldn't show even without the seats.
I am going to try some other cleaning stuff. I'll see if I can get the pics off of ebay. But yeah I can't really use them. I wish to keep my seats at least for now. So I might want to sell them.

Check for 89-92 interiors cause thats when shoulder belts in the back became standard and they just had those holes filled in

what i did was just remove the female piece. unbolted it completely and threw it away. i thought about fibreglassing it, but it would be so hard to get the factory texture, and the fact that fibreglass doesnt stick to plastic is a drawback as well.
