Front license plate bracket question.
My '87 T/A never had a front plate. I got my hands on the what I believe is the right bracket GM part #10024283. It does not exactly conform to the nose of the car. Are there special screws or did I maybe get the wrong bracket? If anyone has any pics, I'd really appreciate it.

o no , please dont put the stock plate on, you have to put holes into the bumper and it wrecks the looks. it you are set on a front plate i just bought a plate bracket . Its L shaped and goes on the bottom of the bumer and you dont need screws. I have three pics for ya. give me a sec and i have them all on here for ya. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT PUT THE STOCK FRONT PLATE BRACKET.
NO PLATE LOOKS THE BEST

Ask the guy if hell put up another auction and youll be set. It was 36 dollars with the money order and shipping.heres what you should get , and please dont ruin your car with the stock bracket.

I got pulled over twice the first day I got my car for no front plate. So I got my dad to bend a plate like the one in your picture for my car. It is just made of aluminum and doesn't bolt onto the nose. It uses the holes that the nose used to bolt to the car. Works perfect, never had a problem, and now the cops have nothing to pull me over for..... well maybe some things!

Aluminum Bracket vs. Steel
Wanted to let folks know that I supply an aluminum license plate bracket.
It is over half the cost of what the other guy on eBay is charging for "powder-coated" brackets that are sure to rust.
Like all of you, I hate putting plates on these cars, but there is a better alternative if you don't want to build one of these yourself.
Further information can be found on my web site at www.tandaperformance.com.

Ya, Im in Rosepark, semi close to downtown. A guy at my work has a Jeep Cherokee that has no bracket in front, and he got a ticket, so now he keeps it in the window. I never got busted at all... I guess they do like F Bodies.....

The whole state? sweet.... In utah, You need emissions, but up north, where my boss lives, they have a 2nd gen with streight pipes, and its perfectly legal... Here it depends where you are.
I have even driven way up north once to take it to a body shop with no plates at all, never got pulled over or nothing...
