90-92 Speedometer (HELP)

I just bought a 90 Speedometer for my 92 RS! I wanted to replace the lights in the back. Some of them say replace all assembly and some dont? Can I just replace the bulb? Does anyone now were I can find some white lights?

Does anyone know how to take mile off a speedo? My car has 123,000 miles but the new speedo says 156,000.

Another question I have is whether or not it is possible to put the orange needles that are on my 92 RS speedo onto the 90 Iroc Z28 speedo?

Please give me as much help as possible!

You will lose calibration if you swap needles. There are only 4 bulbs that light the whole cluster and yes, you can just replace the bulbs. The rest of the lights are dummy lights.

You could also take the odometer apart and roll it back like the used car "theif's" I mean salesmen do.

How do you take it apart? I have the actual speedo take out of the cluster but it seems difficult to get to that piece! How would I go about doing that?

I will have to try something with the lights because they seem seized in. Are the lights that have the BLUE bracket the only ones that light up?

those guage clusters are pretty expensive. do you really want to risk ruining it just to have the correct mileage? I'd just make a note of the current mileage of your old cluster and the new one and if it comes to where it does matter worry about changing it then. it's only 33xxx miles. If your car had like 200 miles on it and the other guage cluster had 156xxx, then i could maybe see a reason to change it.

Have you disassembled it before? Is it that hard to take it apart? It does not seem to difficult but I dont want to chance it if I really dont know the details to what I am doing.
