Vents not working?
I have a 90 TA that I've had since september, when I bought it the AC vents weren't workin, but since winter was close I didn't pay much attention to it. Now since it is excessively hot I've started to notice this little problem again. When I turn on the AC or the heat, the vents don't work. All of the air comes out of the top of the dash, and the floor, but not the vents. What would cause this and how do I go 'bout a fixin it? Any information or help on this would be greatly appreciated!!
the air diverters are vacuum operated, there is a small plastic box mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment (about 3" wide and 7" long) check and see if there is vacuum on that. the default position for the diverters (without vacuum) is defrost.

Ditto on that... Check For Vacuum Leaks... Mine was easy to find tho, right on top by the firewall...

They look like little tubes and they run all over in certain years.
Best thing to do is to start the engine, and listen for the above mentioned hiss. It sounds like someone shushing you... If you have a tube you can use it like a stethascope, put one end up to your ear and put the other end in other locations to try & locate the problem area...
