GM Discontinued it, now what????

GM discontinued the vent in the following picture. Where can I buy a new set of these? As you can see the paint is peeling off of mine.

Try junkyards, or just repaint it.

1992 Firebird. What would I paint them with. How would I find an exact match for the color?

If all else fails, just paint them black. Should look good since the dash is black and grey.

I'm pretty sure Krylon has a line of paint now that is supposed to stick to plastic better than regular enamel spray paint. You might be able to find a close color, but your best bet is probably to just paint it black.

Harry

Trouble is, I cannot find that "Fusion" paint anywhere in CA.

I'll be traveling to the Seattle area next week. Anyone know if there's a place there that carries this stuff?

Car: surprise!! a '92RS!!!
Engine: L03
Transmission: 5 speed "M39"
Krylon "Fusion" plastic paint

"The 12-ounce aerosol can of Krylon Fusion is available in 16 colors and can be purchased several places including some home improvement stores, Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, Sears Hardware and Sherwin-Williams. Some stores are limited on colors, while others can order shades from Hunter Green to Sun-Dried Tomato. Prices range from about $3.97 to $5.99. "

I found the above by googling "Krylon Fusion".

Hope this helps. BTW, I had no idea this stuff existed. Great to learn something every day!!! Thanks!!!

Krylon Duplicolor should work. I just bought a can of black Krylon Fusion paint which is the new kind that bonds to the plastic. I will post my findings as soon as I know how well it works.
