I spoke with Bruce at HawksThirdGenParts today and he said the most he can do on a group purchase is give us free shipping. I, personally am ok with that due to the very reasonable price of the spoiler, $250.00. I will list the names of those interested in this purchase and if you want to be on or off this list let me know ASAP. The deadline to be in this group purchase is Sunday, June 22. On Monday, June 23, I will submit the names of those signed up to Bruce.

That deadline is a little sooner than I expected, and for the amount of scratch that I'm saving I think I'm going to bow out. Since I was unable to see one at carlisle this weekend, I'm going to sit back and wait until I see somebody elses.

 

Hey what if i already ordered the spoiler on saturday, like the one that just past. is there any way to get on this deal for free shipping or no? the order was made under Tim Miller so if you speak to bruce see if theres away i can get on this group purchase if not its all good.

$250?? is there a led brake light in it? you can go to spoilers2000.com (or something like that, Ill have to look) and get them for 180 w/ the lite. just an idea

 

No you can't. This isn't a 91-92 Z28 spoiler, it's a 5" tall version of the stock 82-92 spoiler, and Hawks is the only one making it.

Considering the low quantity, and the amount of work that goes into molds, I'm quite impressed that it's only $250.

gosh i wish we could see a full car pic, you just cant really tell how it will effect the whole cars appearence....

 

I have seen the 5"spoiler on a '92 camaro (in person) and I can assure you that it looks very good on the car. Think about it this way, the factory high-rise spoiler on, I believe '91-'92 Z28's is much taller than this particualar spoiler. So, if you are worried about the 5'spoiler looking to be "too much" then that is not the case.

 

i have a pic.....this was posted by mdformula350, one of the pictures he took at nationals, and mark said it had a banner from hawksthirdgen.org on the windshield and kinda put two and two together.....

 

Ya know what, that should be it. That is the car from their web site, i believe it is Neil's car, not this Neil in the thread but i think a guy that works with them there. They said it was going to be painted and i guess they did it and brough it up to the Nats. Last i saw that car it was on their site and the spoiler was in primer. It should have two chrome tips too IIRC, that and the wheels. Looks good IMO.

 

Alright guys, I spoke with Bruce and I am going to e-mail the list to him. I know that some of you have already placed your order, for those of you that haven't, you have until this Wednesday, June 25th to do so. Any orders placed after Wednesday will not be considered part of the group purchase, thus you will not get free shipping on your spoiler.

Hey is there any update on this group purchase? like has he billed each customer yet or has anyone else ordered theres besides me (that i know of)? whats goin on?

 

From what i understand, there are quite a few orders in front of me, so...i am sure people ordered them, i just do not know if they were from this GP! I could expect mine in like 4 weeks, so there were a few that he was able to sell Bruce should be up front with you and give you an idea of when you can expect yours. He did for me. later man

 

oh okay, becuz ive been waitin 2weeks so far and i know its 2-4 weeks before i should get it. i just havent been billed for it so thats why i woundering if he's goin to bill everyone at one time or what.

 

Hey guys i have quite a few orders for the spoiler, as they come in I am puuting the orders in first come first serve basis,that is fair and i am not billing until the spoiler is in a box and ready to ship I am getting 3 a week from the supplier So I am billing and shipping as fast as I can I hope you guys like it.
