My wipers are going granny slow.

I turn the on and they are the slowest thing ive ever seen, and the handle you turn to make then speed up/down can spin 360 degrees...not good? When i hit the button thing to make them spray they dont even think about spraying, any ideas? Are the motors hard to replace if i need to?

I think you found the first link to the problem... fix the switch first, then worry about the motors second.

from what you've described, it sounds like you need a new switch...if you can spin the speed selector 360 degrees, then you probably have to replace it. As far as the washer button not working, get a voltage meter and see if it is even functioning.

from your description, the switch sounds to be trash.

dont mean to steal your thread, but, mine on my car are going slow when they are in the first 6 inches of the window and the last 6, and they wont park correctly either unless i use them for 30+ milnutes then they work perfect. i think the motor might be going...what do yall think?

The motor is a piece of cake. It pretty much just drops right out. I've been trying to figure out the switch thing for a while now. It would be east with the steering column out and broken down but I'm lost as to how to do it while in the car.

Check out this site ... I have seen diagrams there.

Check inside the wiper houseing ... you may just have to change the grease out.
If not then look for one at a junk yard.
