How many people have removed

That black plastic piece that is connected to the lower nose GFX on a 91/92 Camaro? The piece I'm talking about curves up and seems to create a channel for air to hit the radiator/condensor?

I had to remove mine because my front GFX is so busted up it wouldn't mount to it anymore and was wondering if anyone noticed any better cooling by doing so?

I'm thinking about not putting it back on when I finally put my new gfx/bumper cover on. (Sitting in the back yard, just waiting on a fender)

You're probably going to end up overheating in no time without your airdam on there.

you will def want to put that back on otherwise your car can overheat easily. If i'm not mistaken that piece is the air dam, without it you don't get enough airflow to the radiator at highway speeds and your temps will go up. i highly recommend puttin that piece back on, or if it doesn't fit right anymore buy another one from teh dealership, they're relatively cheap.

Steve, I'm not an idiot

It wasn't the airdam.

It was towards the front of the car actually connected to the front lower GFX and curved upwards.

It's what people commonly cut holes in to make their TPI dual snorkles act as CAI.

This guy has it labeled air dam, but it's not the air dam.
