thanks guys, here she is, all redone.

There are a ton more pics on my cardomain site, but I did not wanna put them all here. Tell me what you guys think. Took me a long time to get all the parts and they were originally meant for my 86, but she was rearended and I got the IROC. So thats that.

That looks great! I dream of my 85 T/A's interior to look that clean...all I need really is the seats recovered and new carpet...you have alot of time and effort in your interior and it shows! Looks great!!

Wow, it look awesome! Especially the carpet.
Two questions, no actually three:
(1) What is that blue/green glowing thing near your emergency brake? Oh wait, they're sunglasses aren't they?
(2) What is that purple thing in the same picture? Is that like a CB or a walkie-talkie?
(3) Are they new door panels? You pulled them off another car, right?
Thanks. It looks great.

Yes, the door panels are off of an 80's GTA. I did not want to go with the same old (please excuse the tone) "dull" camaro door panels. And the map pockets were something I thought was really sweet. I think the little gray area really sets off the whole interior and gives you something other than SOLID black all the time. The other two questions are right.....
I do pride myself on the time I spend trying to maintain the car. Adding some modern touched while keeping the classic 3rd gen feel. I personally think the 3rd gen interiors were much more thought out than the 4th gens. All plastics cut to fit the way they should, not just some carpeted paper in the back. They look more modern IMO. But anyway, thanks for the props guys, it makes my day everytime I hear someone give me a compliment. Makes all the time I spent collecting parts and getting it right the first time, really worth it.

Looking really good!! I agree with you about the door panels too!! Mine need to go.. Nothing finer than modding a car with modern touches but keeping the spirit of the original.
Done in great taste, well done :hail:

Norcal,
Interior looks great! Nice effort BUT .... you've got to lose that steering wheel. It takes the focus away from all of your hard work. Everything else looks awesome. Gotta love leather!!!!

I love it. I planned on having it redone, to bring it back to new. I have not found an aftermarket wheel that I like yet though. Although there was someone who had a Momo wheel that was a similar 3 spoke design. Might be interesting. For now that is the least of my worries, she will never win any shows right now anyway. Too much to fix in too little time, the summers almost over. Maybe next year I can enter her in a few competitions. Bt thanks for the praise fellas. Makes it all worth while

I had the same problem. I could not find a steering wheel I liked for the longest time. Not a dramatic change but it's slightly smaller and cleaner looking. It's a terrible pic of a Grant CarbonFiber.

I take back my opinion, I was confused. I like the style in your car, I don't care for the wheel with the big rectangle in the middle of it....sorry....
