I would like to....

Get rid of that stupid beeping when I have the keys in the car and the door open. I am not worried about locking the keys in the car and I dont want to always have the key in the on position. Is there any way to disable it? A fuse that I can take out, a wire I can disconnect?

Thanks
Brian

Normally, you can just pull out a little on the key and it will stop beeping....

I think I didnt state what I want clearly. I want to have the key in the #1 spot. Where you turn the key and the radio comes on but all the dash crap doesnt come on and the fans stay off. I want to have the key there and have the door open.
Thanks
Brian

pull the wheel, and lock plate, and there is a little metel clip thing on the key cylinder, take it out and no more buzzer, but the headlight buzzer will still work

Call me crazy, but don't you just rotate the key to the rear position (accessory) and the radio will function without all of the console and fans turning on? This works, why unplug the buzzer?

Put tape over the door switch?

Roll the windows down?

I just pull on my key a little and the cylinder pops out a small distance and it stops buzzing. Maybe its loose, I don't know if they are all like that
