Really Bad news need Opinions

Ok check this out this is how it is minus the details.
I bought a 98 Z28. Bad *** car right well it was until we slid and hit a pole with it. I wasnt driving by the way. Anywayz we are waiting on the verdict is it totaled or not. If it is they would pay off the loan money right? I told the cops I was driving. So basically I could have it paid since my friend wasnt on the insurance. So I'm screwed there. So I'm thinking about screwing that car I mean it was fully loaded. Now i'm stuck with this 92 RS which needs all kind of work. Paint, body, parts, and it has no power anything. Should I get this car hooked up with a new 350 and get it to looking better or try to mess with this wrecked one. I might be able to fix it. Since its a unibody i think the frame is bent so theres nothing they can do. What do ya'll think would be the best thing to do?

Yep, thats rule #1 dont let anyone drive the car who will do something stupid, crazy, and if they arent on the insurance, drive your car.

Sorry about your loss

Exactly, if the 98 is totaled then take everything out of that and put it into the 92.
