on my other computer i have a pic of a 4th gen with the megashifter, and it looks real good, ill see if i can find it and post them later. it used the megashifter boot too, i also remember having a pic of the hammer shifter used with a 6 speed boot, and it looked way better to me.

"I'm running my megashifter on a Transking built TH400. For installation, I unbolted the console and drilled a couple of new holes in the floor board for the shifter (after I got it lined up where I wanted it.) I hacked the console top cover a bit (both width and length - then used some black finishing screws to bolt down the black boot on the top on the console. I'm sure someone could make a much better looking install if they invested a little more time than I did.

Dont know the P/N though. A buddy of mine (Texlurch) pulled the shifter out of an old Nova, years ago, and gave it to me as a freebee. All I had to buy was the cable and a new boot.

My tranny is a Manual valve body. Since I'm always shifting it myself, I dont have much of a problem remembering which gear I'm in. (But nope, there's no actual indicator on my setup)."

that was booked in my favorite places under:

hope that helps a little...
