Locky Cylinder
How should I go about removing the lock cylinder's from inside of my doors?
My driver side door doesnt even unlock anymore without a key, and this is gonna be a real pain in the *** now considering my power locks went out.
So how do I get the cylinders out, and what can I use as a replacement, locks off of any GM car?

I just replaced both my door cylinders when i had it painted you have to get inside the door panel and take off the clip that holds the rod to the cylinder(you'll see when you get in there) there's a pressure clip that holds the cylinder in you have to pull that back then just take out the cylinder from the outside. You can got to gm and get the new cylinders and just switch the tumblers over or if you know the parts guy real good as i do he will do it. The guy i know did mine after it decided it wasnt going to work i know probaly 2 guys at every gm dealership in the state of colorado plus i got the hookups with the acdelco dealer. I think the cylenders were 20 something a piece. Infact i had to take my drivers side one out today because one of the tumblers had slipped out of place and wouldnt let me unlock. HOpe that helps you can pretty much figure out how to remove it when you get inside the door. Good luck I hope you have smaller arms then i do because i dont fit inside doors real well

You just take the tumblers out of the old cylinder and put them into the new one so your old keys fit. You have to take them out one at a time and keep them in order ie front to back or whatever so your old key will owrk if the tumblers get mixed up the key wont work same with the trunk cylinder old tumblers into the new cylinder. Its really not all that hard just takes patience, small fingers and some time,
