Universal outside power rearview mirror kit?

Where can I find these? I gotta believe they are out there. But, all my searches turn up ones for specific vehicles, (mostly trucks), yet none that I could use. Any ideas, nice folks? Thanks.

It seems to me that all mirrors are pretty much made by the same company(American cars anyway). I've pulled power rearview mirrors from Dodges and put them in GM's w/no problems. Just make sure you wire them in correctly. The most popular ones are the ones w/map lights and auto dimming ones.

Uh, thanks. But, I'm interested in the outside ones.

I don't really think it's possible to have a universal kit for that. Why would you want to? They mounting needs of each kind of car are different. Not to mention if they are powered that adds abunch of new equations to the mix.

I have never seen anything like that. But I would imagine for older cars without all the plastic housing when mirrors were an after thought could be out there. They wouldn't look right and definatley aren't powered. So I would be they are NOT out there.

Besides it's doubtfull that any aftermarket solution could be as well suited to the thirdgen as it's own factory mirrors.

No offense to anyone but installing those on a thirdgen would look like ***. Why would you want to change your mirrors anyway? The only mirror changes that I have seen that look good are fourth gen mirrors and BMW mirrors.

I forget who the user is that added the BMW mirrors to his car but it looked good. The car had a fourth gen wing and Ram Air II hood.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just got these. They're the paddle style mirrors that were offered on some 87 GTA's(not many). I just wanted them because they're unique.
