Here are pictures of my new headliner/visors/sail panels. Also, there's a page with pictures of the old headliner.

$250 + s/h. It was under $300 total for everything.

That looks great. I went the cheap route and recovered my headliner for a quick fix. Later when I get more $$$ I will by the whole package like you. I want mine to be nice and soft :lala:

From Hawks, just the headliner is $148, if you get the entire kit including sail panels and visors, thats $250...right?

lock - I got all my money back for the terrible job those awful people did. But, it worked out because it inspired me to get the ABS one, which is great. It's nice and solid and from what I understand, it helps cut down on leaks - always a plus with t-tops.

Did you have to take the side panels (above the rear sails) off to install the new headliner? When I redid my old headliner, it was a bit of a challenge to get it to fit back in there.

Do you mean the plastic pieces? I didn't have to take them completely off, but I did take the screw out of the top back there and managed to bend the plastic side panel down just enough to slip the headliner in. It's a tricky thing back there.

Yeah, that's what I did. I didn't take them completely off but just took out that screw. However, I bent the old headliner bad putting it back in there. It looks fine, just the headliner body that got busted up a little, the exterior fabric goes over it so it looks fine. But I am wondering if you also bent the new headliner putting it in or how did that work? I'm thinking perhaps you had some people bend down both sides at once and maybe slid it in there?

I had assistance while putting in the new board. We rested the board on the seat headrests and each one of us held down a side of the plastic in the back and brought the headliner back there and it was resting still on the seat headrests. Then we got the headliner up in the front and had it resting on the rear view mirror. And while it was in this position, we were able to screw back the plastic pieces in the back and put on the dome light, which really helped to hold it up while we screwed back the molding around the t-tops.

Also, the way the ABS board is formed, it'd take a lot to bend the actual board, unlike the factory boards which bend if you look at them wrong.

Looks good.

I recovered my own headliner and it looks just as good for $25 worth of materials and 3 hours work.
