Some pictures of the reverse indiglo dash

that's currently available on Ebay.

Thought I'd post a pic of mine to show everyone what it looks like at night.

Keep in mind I already have a million blue LEDs behind the overlays that's why the blue kinda "spills over" in some areas. I do that so my needles are lit and there's also blue in the odometer area and everything else that still needs to be lit, is lit.

The only thing I cant stand with those overlays is the middle. If you were to cover that huge section of aqua with a coat of black spray paint, it'd look Soooooo much better. They still look kick-azz though.

Yeap that's what I hate too. Unfortunately they're white so black paint probably won't look very good. Hehe... Here's another shot while I'm actually driving the car!...

Reverse Indiglo Overlays

Reverse Indiglo Overlays

Are these the same as the white gauge face overlays? What effect will the blue bulbs or white LEDs have on either of these lits?

Are there anymore of the reverse indiglo kits available for sale???

Thanks,

Steve

i put the halo reverse gauges in my camaro a few weeks ago. they look awesome. i took out the bulbs that originally lit the background so it wasnt so much white. the only problem i have is occasionally the temp gauge sticks and i killed the fuel gauge. easy fixes once i find a new one, other than that, im happy with them. if i can get pics, ill post them.

I'd love to buy-in on those reverse Halo guages, but I don't have the money right now. I know I'll get them eventually, so if that page (http://www.streetracerparts.com/reverse_style.htm) is still there I'll do it. Cause I've got a 110 mph speedometer and I don't think there're many other ways for me to get it. :lala:

I could if someone REALLY wanted a set. I dont have as much time on my hands as I used to though. I might even take out the one I have in my dash and sell it since it's kind of useless now with the overlays on top.

That looks pretty sweet. I have the 110 spedo too, i'm thinking about putting down the money, my question though is does this include everything, LED's adapters, resistors etc that are needed? Or do you still need to buy more things?

Yes, basically it comes with everything you need. THere are no L.E.D's, the light is built into the overlays so when they receive power, they light up. If you buy in, we only need 3 more!

So as far as powering these goes, do I need to run new wires, simply splice into the old LED wires? If I don't like this it isn't hard to go back to the white led's is it?

I have some indiglow gauges installed in my car right now and all I did was splice into the power wire for the hvac controls and ground them on a ground under the dash. So if you wanted to take these out, you would just undo the power wire from wherever you attached it, undo the ground, and take them out. Also, if you get the reverse indiglo, you will probably take out the old light bulbs out of your cluster so the old white light doesn't shine thru the overlays. So if you want the old gauges back, just put the bulbs back in when you're taking out the overlays. It's pretty simple. It confused me at first but one of the moderators, 88aziroc helped me out and now it's REALLY easy!
