turn signal replacement

Has anyone replaced the front signal lights from 82-84 Z28 with lights from newer years? I would like to replace the smokey old orange signals from my 84 to one of a newer model preferably one of the clear type. One of my signals is broken and I thought what the heck try for something better. Will the newer types look better. Any opinions? Thanks.

I just put a new nose\gfx on my '84 sport coupe, the turn signal\lamp is a different size. The orange are a smaller size than the clear ones.

Thanks for the info. One of mine is broken and I have just ordered the same as the ones that were there. I will clean it up really well before installation.

There are three different sizes throughout 82-92. I'm not sure of which years and models they were, but the earliest ones are the smallest, and the latest ones are the widest.

search for bubbakutz, he did that on his SC to have the clear markers instead of the amber ones that came stock on those cars.
