replacing weatherstripping

i posted in the regional boards looking for a good shop that will replace weatherstripping (i plan on replacing all hatch, door, and t-top ws) but in a more general sense, i was wondering what kind of shop would do this? would you go to a body shop to do this? i've even heard people say that window tinting places do it. whatever places do this, do they use genuine gm ws, or some aftermarket repro ws? all of my ws is rotting away and leaks all over the place, so i want to replace it before i put in my nice new interior.

I took my car to a Pontiac dealer about 2 years ago and they wanted like $300 to do both sides of the Ttops, and it would only take a few hours. In the end I ended up doing it myself. Not too hard, just take your time.

$300 labor + parts? That's not bad at all, considering the weatherstripping kit is around $250. If it's $300 labor only though... ouch. Do it yourself.

Save yourself some $$$ and do it your self. Go to a auto paint store and get the 3M adhesive remover to get the old glue off, and then get the 3M adhesive to put the new weather strips on.

Very easy to do.
