AC delete, No vents

On my dash there are no vents just like pieces of plastic. If I plan on putting AC in my car do these pieces of plastic break away for me to install vents? or will I be AC'less foreve?

I believe that they are part of the dash. Its been a while since I have seen a pic of one but is there a gap inbetween the edges of the plastic panels and vent ducts?

Does anyone have a picture of the blockoff plates in a camaro? I've never seen a non-ac one, and I pulled my A/C off. If it looks cleaner, I might fab up something similar...

Thanks,
Matt
