has anyone put vette seats into their thirdgen ? do/will they bolt right in or do you have to change the sliders, i was thinking about looking for some new front seats and if the fit i was looking to maybe get some vette seats if possible, and if you have them could you post a pic to see what they look like

 

I'm not sure if they bolt right up or if there is fab. required, but say goodbye to your backseat because they don't recline.

I have vette seats and i didnt get the brackets with so i cant say if the bolt right on. Its true they dont recline but mine do move forward to allow people in the back

i dont really put people in the back anyways so it wouldnt be such a big deal

 

I have them in mine as well. The do recline but nowhere near what the original seats do. They also fold forward just like the stock seats did to allow access to the back. I don't have a back seat anymore so it's no big deal to me. I bought mine with the seat tracks attached and they wouldn't line up with the stock studs. I swapped the vette tracks for the Firebird tracks,made some spacers and it's been all good ever since.

i think i have vette seats, the guy i bought the car off said they were from a vette....there real nice tho, u can turn these ***** and make the seat squeeze u more loose, and they got extendable leg rests too...there real comfy i just gotta get them reapoulstered. a dog got at teh passenger and ripped teh faom all apart. heres a pic hope it helps
