iroc restoration stripe kit.

i posted this in another board but no replies, so i will post it here.

i have an 89 iroc which i am totaly redoing right now and i need to know who has the best iroc-z stipes and decals. my car has the black and mettalic blue bottom stripe, with the silver package.

my question is which one is better, decal king's kit, or phoenixgraphix.com kit. decal king told me that if i sent them a sample of my stripes they would try to match it up but no guarantee for an exact match. phoenixgraphix.com looks to have my blue listed inder brillant blue, but i am curious if they are the same mettalic stipes that came on my car.

if anyone has any feedback on eigther of these kits, i am wanting to here your comments, or if you suggest somewhere else that has top quality decals i am open for suggestions.

thanks
anthony

I have an 86 IROC and I ordered the Decal kit from Decal King over a year ago. I am completely satisfied with the look of them. Car looks stock like it did in 86.

i would go gm decals but..........................................................
they are discontinued. i can get the door decals but nothing else, so my dealer says. decal king told me they might not be able to match my metallic blue stripe. i have looked at the next gen catlogs.
but what i was asking was feedback on which kit is the best out there (besides the gm one, unless someone can tell me of a dealer who has these, then i would have them sent to my dealer so i can get my discount), so the car will look good paint and decal wise for many years.
i am in the same boat on the emblems. i need the rocker iroc emblems and the rear iroc emblem in silver, and my dealer says they cant get them (i think they were lazy that day, but the stripes have not been made for quite a few years by gm. if anybody knows of a dealer with those in stock, let me know so i can have them sent to my dealer.

thanks
anthony

http://www.stencilsandstripes.com/index.asp is a web site here in IL that has aparently bought up all of the gm decals from dealers in this area.

if i buy gm decals i need to buy them from a dealer that way i keep my 28.5% discount.

AaronIROCZ: do you think you could call your dealer to see if they have any in stock (brillant blue bottom, black top stripes, and silver door decals, iroc-z rocker emblems, and iroc-z rear bumper emblems). if they do i can have my dealer get them from your dealer so i still get my discount.

thanks
