4th Gen Console

How hard is it to put a 4th gen console into a 3rd gen camaro. And if any1 has any idea of how much they going 4 that would be helpful too.

There's a million posts on the same subject. I'm looking through now, trying to look at some of the other posts to figure out what they did w/ the power window and hatch switches. They are running up to $100 after shipping on eBay for the 98 and up ones. I'm gett'n ready to get one this week.

is that a manual console even tho you have an automatic transmission... if so, was there something wrong with trying to install the automatic console?

the auto console require quite a bit more work than the manual console. I had plans of switching to T56 anyway....so it was all good at the time.

But do yourself all a favor and do a search for alluminum interior. There's a guy on the boards who made a stock TA console look absolutely fantastic. I'm now looking for a good condition stock TA console with shift plate. Gonna sell the 4thgen console whenever I get around to it.
