What i was thinking about doing was a sunroof/t-top idea. Where its not a power sun roof but where basically you just cut away a bunch of the sheet metal on the top of the hood. Cover the outsides of the opening with rubber for the seal. Then have it just latch down on the inside. Instead of being a real sun roof that slides forwards and back it pops off like a set of T's. I think thatd be amazing! never seen it b4 though.

I was working on implementing a sunroof into my RS before I lost it. I had the glass and everything.

my biggest problem with it is that the center of the roof is a fairly important element, and hacking into it _can_ make the car more flexible and weaker, depending how it's done, thats why the factory put in t-tops

By the way i went to the upick it yard got all the hardware and glass and everything for 25bucks and put it in myself with a 10buck tube of sealant i bought from the autoglass shop. Looks brand new.

You do get a empty feeling in your stomach when you first put the drill thru your roof tho...and then to proceed to chop a gaping hole n your roof so it falls in on your seats.
