that would be a ridiculous amount of custom work, and i don't even know that the taillights would fit with the lines of the car.
you'll notice that 99.9% of custom taillight jobs stick with a simple taillight design, for a reason.

It has been done before. There was a car in hot rod I think, that was custom all the way. It was blue. All I have is an engine shot and interior. I will post the interior to help jar some memories and maybe someone can post the exterior pics.

But vette tail lights???Custom work to do those im guessing???:hail:

if you look at it closely it looks like they are just stock tail lights with an oval cut out over it- almost like tail light covers that were molded in and painted

I like some of the styling cues....like the vent.
And the tail lights, the 4th gen's that were shipped overseas had different lenses that closely resembled those.

What I'll never understand is why people change their Firebirds or Camaros so much that they cease to look like Firebirds or Camaros. What did they buy the car for in the first place? GM may have screwed up a lot of things on these cars, but the stying has always been right on.

Look, if it were easier to find a picture of a 4th gen Camaro in Japan, I'd find it, post it, and we'd be done. Those are export spec tail lights either for Euopean export, Japanese export, or both, I'm a little uncertain of which.

Is it definitely real? I mean, does anyone know the car is genuine? Because those rear lights look a little bit photoshopped to me. It looks good, except that the right hand light begins to wrap around the side of the car, but the left one does not. Surely if they were equal you would not see the corner of the left hand lamp because it would be around the side a little....or is it just my eyes?
EDIT : The black 4th gen Camaro is an excellent example of what I'm talking about....notice the far light disappears?

So let me get this right fellas; this is not a 3rd gen tail light mounted in this third gen pictured below in Europe;
Let's see, does the color sequence look familiar? OH Yeah, kinda like in thta blue monster... yet oddly shaped like 4TH gen tail lights...

IMO which isn't important whatsoever here, the camaro lights appear to wrap the rear of the 4thgen as the ones in the blue turd burgular appear flat. Weather they are or not would require a different angle shot to prove weather or not they are indeed 4thgen light.
Without the true facts about the rear lamps from the company that did the conversion, it's all speculation from anyone only on the origin of the lamps.

One of my customers is in the military and he bought a Z28 while in Germany. They sent him back here and he brought the Euro-spec car with him. Has the german tags on it too
