Pinched weather stripping

My weather stripping is getting smashed by the window, it is in good condition, not cracking or hard or anything, is there any way to fix it?

I "unsmashed" my rear hatch weatherstripping by inserting rubber tubing inside the strip... I already had a rip in it, but you'd have to cut it to get it in (providing it is hollow - too late to go check)
