looks good...not to be nosey but what happened to the back quarter panel though?

 

how do you plan on fixing that?

Please dont tell me Bondo or lead fill....


if you are gonna remove it you may as well buy another doner car with a good Rear... cause that is all one piece....

Bought it from a guy who claims his ex-girlfriend borrowed the car and brought it back like this. He parked it in his garage for two years before I found it. Already replaced the quarter. Working on interior over the winter and new paint in the spring.

 

Replaced with quarter from a doner car. My best friend has his own body shop. I'm a lucky girl!!!

 

you already replaced the entire back quarter?

If you need any parts for the interior i have the entire guts of a 87 formy in the garage, feel free to ask..

i have the entire dash incl. speedo(145) tach, and all switches...

sill panels to seats, feel free to ask.

 

I wish I would have remembered to take pics during the quarter swap. Basically, we cut the doner quarter large, cut out my car's quarter then trimmed and welded the replacement in. Not as simple as that sounds, but well worth the trouble

 

Was it a seemless install? if not where does the seam run along?got any close-up pics?
