What size is the nuts for the seats??

What size is the nuts for the seats??

Hey guys I am reparing my floor,,, I want some new hardware.....im ganna get some new stainless nuts for my seats...

What size of nut is holding down my seats, its an 87 camaro???

While im at it is there other hardware I should get?? any ideas??

I am not sure of what thread size they are, but they fit a 13mm wrench. I'll go out tomorrow if you like and find out what thread size they are.

Maverick H1L - If its no trouble please do so but if its something i can do,,,just let me know and ill go searching. Its just i Never thought and i threw out my old rusted crappy ones and I never realized i cant just take the studs in to the store to match them up?? stupid me.
Thanks guys if you can help.

Anyone disagree with 13mm...if not i guess ill try that??

13mm is not the thread size. I have to go out anyways and get some hardware for the plastic in the hatch area. I'll take one of those nuts with me and see what I come up with.

M8 nuts are the ones you need for all you out there in imperial land.By the way don't you just hate it when you work on the car and find out both imperial and metric fasteners are used.

Thanks guys i just put some new washers and nuts on today...too bad i could only find standard sizes in stainless...so i just got the steel ones. Oh well....aleast there not rusted to cr@p like the old ones..i barly got off.

When i put in my new carpet i sandblasted and painted the stock nuts black.
I know not everyone has access to a sand blaster, but i just thought i'd share

when i pulled my seats from a 93 camaro, the nuts had a little rubber tit that covered it.

Yeah hte 93 Camaro i used to own (i swapped seats with the Formula b4 i sold it) had the rubber covers also and i put them on too.

:hail: hail sandblasters........if i had a quarter every time i wish i had a sandblaster while i worked on the car lately then id have enought to buy one and have lots left over for the sand.
But even so my old nuts were beond that point of bring them back,,two of the suds for my seats snaped off and i had to weld new ones on there. But still sandblaster yah would rock!!!

I got 2 sand blasters wooo lol and why does everyone keep saying 13mm when he wants to know the thread size. I was just going to take a old bolt to the hardware store and find a bolt it fitted then ill know.
