Window condensation from hell!!!!

Is it common for our cars to have thick condensation on the interior when no other cars outside do in the colder months??? Or could it just be due to my slightly leaky heater core? someone please shed some light on a fix!

mine doesn't

i would say yes the heater core is causing it, and the leaky windshield.

problem with a leaky core is it is also oily so it suck to have to try to clean off the windows.

i have a humidifier in my house and if i set it to high it sweats the windows in the house. so kinda the same thing. to much moisture in the car. No idea how to fix that problem other than fix the leaks.

definitly the heater core. Mine was the same way until I replaced it and then it all went away. It is because when your car heats up the antifreeze evaportates and when the car gets cold again it atatches to the windows as a film.

Im gonna agree with stiers, I've only had my Maro out once, and it was sunny... so not sure about third gens. But I know my Old Yorker did the same, never did get around to replacing that thing, I just used an old work shirt and some of that spray stuff to stop it from cliging to the windows

rain-x makes some anti window fogging stuff for the inside of the windows. Basically keeps moisture from forming there, I guess. Maybe try some of that until you can fix the heater core.

I'm just gonna rip the heater core out AGAIN(already replaced once) and keep it out come spring I think.

I thought about Rain-X's anti-fog but then it just all gets on and under yours.
