If all you need is the pins and brass bushings for the hinges, you can get them in your HELP! section at your parts store. I think I paid all of $6.00 for mine a couple years ago. If you could find the bushings made out of a stronger material than brass, that would be the way to go though. These brass ones wear just as quick as the factory ones did, and much quicker if you don't realign the door when your done

I sell the hinge repair kits that 3rdGenSolutions (aka Andy Z28)makes under the "Body & Interior" Section of my web site. The lower hinge pins and bushings that onebinky describes are included in these Upper Hinge Repair kits. More often than not the main cause for a door scraping the GFX isn't the lower hinge pin alone, but it is that the upper hinge pins & bushings are also worn. As many of you know, prior to Andy inventing this kit the only solution was to purchase a new door hinge from GM, drill out the spotwelds holding the old hinge to the door, removing the interior trim and setting the door on the ground (requires you to un-wire the PDL's and PW's if you have these options). Then drill and bolt the new door hinge in place. re-install the door and re-wire it. Andy's kit is less than half the labor (no un-wiring of the PDL or PW wiring), less expensive and better quality materials for the hinge pins than OEM. One of the kits also allows you to grease the inside of the door hinge pin/bushing interface by way of a grease fitting. This along with superior materials will assure that the repaired door hinge will far outlast the OEM version.

TDS p/n 201370 (greasable) upper hinge repair kit

I also sell the tools that will help with the installation such as the GM spring tool , EZ-Store door alignment tool and a long punch set that will help with driving out the uppermost hinge pin once you've ground off the swage.

That looks like a great alternative, I especially like the grease zerks in the top hinges

That door alignment tool you sell looks very useful and time saving, I might place an order for one of those in the next few months.

I put that kit on my car and wow, what a difference. The first time I opened the door in a parking lot I almost flung it into the car next to me... That's how much of a difference it makes
