Car: 1989 Formula 350 / 2000 Lightning
Engine: GM HO 350 Crate (Vortec headed w/TPI) / SC 5.4 330
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 (Raptor Rebuild Kit)
how to remove t shifter handle
Quick question.....How do you go about removing the t-shifter handle on a 700R4 (stock shifter). I have another leather wrapped stock shifter i want to put on....and I just do not want to break anything.
I can change everything else but this simle thing

Turn ignition on, put car in manual low, look on the front side of the handle. There is a c-clip that you just pull out with a small flatblade screwdriver and then the handle slids right off.
Now, moving this to the correct section...interior.
