Difference Between Firebird/Camaro center consoles???
Yep. I can't speak for every year of each model, but they are different. Other than appearances, the Firebird consoles are generally two piece, whereas the Camaro used a one piece console. I didn't catch what car you have, but the Firebird console is split up into a radio "pod" and a center console.

I always thought the 82-84 Firebird consoles look very similar to Camaro consoles. Boxy and square. 85-92 Firebird consoles are more "curvaceous".
But there are other differences too. They have reversed radio over hvac, hvac over radio, the storage compartments open differently, etc., they each fit differently under the C/F dash

I always thought Cam/Fire were opposite of eachother for radio/HVAC placement...I could be wrong.
I've had the interior out of my T/A for so long, I don't remember which goes above the other!

Try this. Go to EBay Motors under Interior then consoles. Do a search for Camaro and one for Firebird. The later 3rd gen Firebirds had a longer console door too.
