Condensation Problem... SERIOUS!!!
Ok I have a BIG problem here... not only do I live in the rain capital of the world, Washington State, but for the past few months now it seems like I can't go out to my car in the morning and get in it and not get drenched because condensation is EVERYWHERE... the T tops, the windshield, everywhere... I thought it was because my T-tops were leaking so badly at the time (which they were) but I have since replaced all the T-top seals and now they still leak but a fraction of what they used to... I even cut out the soaked carpet because I will be replacing it this spring.
I've read some articles with others having the same problem, and for most of them the solution was to change their heater core. I don't have the scent of coolant in the car though and I'm not losing any that I can see from the bottle... any other ideas?? I want to get the entire interior done this spring but won't do it as long as this keeps happening... can someone help me out??
Thanks in advance...
Kevin

It might not even just be the T - Tops.
The seal around the window could have loosened up, allowing water into the car somehow. You might want to pull the window trim and re-seal it- cant hurt...

No, it's something different.. I sat and thought for a while about why condensation happens first of all.. warm, moist air on the inside, the cool glass causes the moisture in the warm air on the inside to gather on the windshield, hatch window, and side windows... even the dashboard gauges get fogged up sometimes!!! The question is, why is the air on the inside staying so warm as opposed to the outside air?? Is there a vent somewhere that is blocked off that I don't know about?? I thought it was the heater core too until I realized I don't smell any coolant... the best way I found to remove the condensate is to leave the windows open during the day (as long as it doesn't rain of course...) Any more suggestions??

your missing the obvious. Moisture.......
any water in the interior will cause this, re align your t tops to seal them since you have new seals they should be water tight. like someone else said check the adjustment on them. check your rear well i had alot of water getting in there and missed it completly. it turned out to be the hatch glass where it seals to the deck lid.
once you get the leaks sealed that will cure your condensation. there is nothing you can do to stop the temperature changes day to night but you can control the moisture in the car.
you may want to get some silca gel also to help untill the car is water tight. they make in in big pouches that you can cook in the oven to reactivate.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I agree you must still have leaks somewhere in the car. You're getting water in there somewhere, and as the car heats up in the morning (sun hitting it) the water condenses on your windows inside. It happens with my car after a bad rain.
