Fog Light Problem

Hey guys whats up, I just bought a 89 GTA and I have a problem with one of the fog lights... The fog light on the left side (if your looking straight at the front) works but the one on the right doesnt, I checked the bulb and the wires on another trans am and they worked perfectly its just as soon as i put it on mine there is no light at all coming from it? What could be the problem...I dont really know much about these cars and i dont know much about the electronic wiring on it or where fuses are but If anyone can help me out here in newbies terms Id be really happy Im starting to get frustrated cause I just want my fog light to work!! lol alright thanks again...

ps: i searched before i asked this but i just couldnt find anything that helped

If it worked on another car, I would have to say that the problem is in the wiring on the car side somewhere. Take a multimeter and test the connector for voltage, no voltage and you either have a short or broken wire.

You'll know it if you have a short: blown fuse or burned wiring and the left light would not work. Take it from a 30 year aircraft electrician anytime you you have a problem like this check power and ground. You probably have a broken wire or bad ground. One of the most important tools for these old beasts can be a multimeter and the knowledge to use it.
