progress on my 83

well, its been slow because of the subzero temperatures here in the N. east. But i got 91 gfx/spoiler off NJspeeder last night and began to put them on this morning.

The door rockers are gonan probably be last since i gotta yank the panels. I need to put the bumper and filler GFX on next. A 90-92 dash in on deck to be installed too. The whole system in the car is now VSS and electronic. because about 2 months ago i dumped the LG4/10 bolt 2.73 in favor for a L98 / 9 bolt

Nice job- that looks great. It's 10 degrees out and you're doing that in your driveway? Man, you've got more motivation than I do. I've got a heated garage & I still get nothing done!

Theres is a 92 blistered hood on the car already. The previous owner got it a while ago. Pretty much the only thing thats gonna make it not a 91 will be the third brake light, and the fact that its not speed density.

And 383, I was layered and kept taking heat breaks when i was outside. I really hate the cold but, next winter im gonan get me a car tent to keep the wind out ....

UMMM, i need to get my long tubes in, a few other things like hook up the steering box
fuel pump wiring
shorter bolts for the lt1 starter
finish the roll bar
the new dash
brakes
the 91-92 16x8 rims
finish hooking up the ignition system
headliner and windshield

but still worth it since i paid 200 bucks for the car and it looked like this when i bought it....

Yea, parking lights need changed. The parking lights front 82-84 are kinda recessed, square, and mount to the impact bar. The lights on 85-92 noses (not SC's cause theya re a different size) mount inside the bumper. Which also means the front nose had to be changed also, since the earlier ones are different shae and all.

I still have a 85-92 front nose, with a 85-90 chin spoiler if you or anyone is insterested.
