I'm getting ready to redo the interior on my 83 Z, and the original color is "Medium Sand Gray" with the deluxe vinyl package. Most sites are selling vinyl seats in "Palomino". I was wondering if anyone else has tried to match this same color interior and have any advice as to where to get the closest matching colors.

I haven't matched that color, but I had to match Medium Beechwood in my 89. Bruce from Hawks (see the sponsor banner at the top of the page), was a HUGE help in the process. He understood that I was gonna be pickey, and did whatever he could to help.

Was that color matching headliners etc as well? I'm looking to replace my headliner in my 89 with Beechwood color and like to find the perfect match what was the color etc you went with?

 

I'm actually not quite done...the headliner is the only thing remaining. I'm placing the order with my next paycheck. The "car budget" is tapped till my next commission!


The "beechwood" headliner from Hawk's is actually "Beechwood". It matches.
