Is the fender/front bumper cover the exact same, including the mounting for the ground effects from an 89 car to a 91? I know with ta's they are diff but not so sure about camaros.

You said that 85-92 are the same, but I have an 84

do you know what is different on pre 85? I actually want to put a 92 front bumper skin on mine, but not sure if it will fit right or not? Anyone know?

A 82 - 84 bumper won't work for the 85 - 90 style of gfx. A 85 - 92 bumper will work for the gfx turbosonoma was interested in which was 85 - 90.

ok so i installed the bumper cover and it all bolted up great. But the ground effect does not sit flush with the fender, so i guess 91-92 fenders are specific? that really doesnt make much sense but ive never done this before. Help????????????????????

91-92 Fenders have a slot cut into them that part of the ground effect slides into. Just cut the slot in with a dremel or something and paint on some clear where you cut.

and then is there a clip thing or something that slides into the slot on the ground effect (on the back side of the fender) that keeps it tight against the fender?

That I am not sure about. My car didn't have it but then again mine doesn't have a lot of crap it should have.
