iroc interior clone for RS

How much difference is the interior from an IROC to a RS. Do you just change the instrument cluster for one with a 145 mph speedo and a V8 tach? Are there any other differences? Can the dash emblem be changed as well?

I think that other than the dash emblem the interiors are the same. And if you got an Iroc-z with the TBI V-8, you'd have the same speedo and tach as an RS V-8.

RS V8 came with 115 speedo stock... I had one. Had to replace it with an IROC one so I would know how fast I was going half the time. Now i know my speed up till 145... after that, I just guess.

At 145 I would either be looking at the road, or in my rear view for pigs.

gages

Does the gages match color-wise for like model years? ie. If you replace just the speedometer and tachometer, they will match the other gages that are already there.......??

If I understood some of the posts I searched for on this topic..... thru like 90 or 91.... the speedometer was cable driven..... is this correct?
