Q- about rad airdamn need help on fabing one with alum........

my car doesnt have one and it get hot sometimes...i was thinking of buying one but ahhhh i mise well make a nice alum one....

does anyone know the angle of the fin and how long does it go down...can someone measure it for me???

Or has anyone made there own here also????

I believe that there was a discussion on here recently about making one from aluminum and I believe that there were some problems discussed about using it. Flexibility being one of them. You can find these air dams at junkyards or buy one from the dealership.

The air dam scrapes alot, even on std height cars. It would be wiped out in a month but if you still want to try mine hangs about 2 " and would only have about a 20 degree angle off vertical.

I can't picture an aluminum one holding up too long, the sparks will make for a nice show though. You can get a new one for $15 online.
