Re: Reverse Glow Gauges for Camaro
I'll second that. It's an improvement over stock visually, but I prefer it at night all light up. I'm really debating just converting over to red led's and seeing where that gets me. This dude's tired of holding a lighter to the dash to see my fuel level.

U dont really need the gauge/dash lights i left them in place to help the needles shine a lttle more and u need light for the odometer and trip count. It comes with an inverter and yes it changes from this blue to like a purpolish less bright blue. And it comes with a dimmer too but i left it on the brightest level and hooked up the power wires from the factory dash lights this way it comes on when i turn on the lights and the dimmer from the car dimms the aftermarket covers as well

I agree but this is a look I could live with. I hate the crappy illumination on the stock gauges. It looks so outdated. I however do not see these on ebay anywhere

Exactly, Ive been waiting years for somebody to make overlays w/ the stock look, but back lit like the ebay overlays, which i just bought btw.Like you said, i can live w/ the thick fonts.Im just tired of the glare i get when my gauges are lit.Even with them LEDs installed.

Where did you guys get yours from? I seen them on slickcar.com but it says its only for Z28, I have 1990 rs will it still work?

Re: Reverse Glow Gauges for Camaro
Some of the Z28's (5.7 L98) had 145 mph speedometers. I believe the RS had one that only went up to 110 mph. If it's a 145 speedo then it won't match up properly. That was the only real difference.
